About the Doctors

Jeffrey Podowitz, D.D.S.

Dr. Jeff Podowitz has been providing outstanding pediatric dental services since 1983. He is a 1975 graduate of New York University School of Dentistry. In 1982, he graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. His dental interest is in the treatment of young and adolescent children, and he is an advocate of Special Education and Special Needs Dentistry. He is married with two sons.

Burton L. Nussbaum, D.D.S.

Dr. Burton Nussbaum has been providing excellent service in the field of pediatric dentistry since1976. He is a 1974 and 1976 graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry with a degree in Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry. His dental interests lie in the treatment of the adolescent and in guiding the developing dentition using orthodontics. He is an international expert in treatment of children with disabilities. He is a member of the American Dental Assoication, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of Special Needs Dentistry in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is married with a son and a daughter.

Zuhair Sayany, D.M.D.

Dr Zuhair Sayany graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1993. Dr. Sayany has practiced dentistry since 1993 and stays up-to-date on the latest advancements in dentistry by maintaining active membership in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is currently president of the New Jersey Association of Pediatric Dentists. He is also a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Denistry. Dr. Sayany has given national lectures for the Association of Pediatric Dentistry, University of Pennsylvania, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He has published multiple articles from 1995-2001. Dr. Sayany is married with two children, a daughter, Ayza, and a son, Zayan. In his time away from the office, Dr. Sayany enjoys spending time with his kids, golfing and being a Philly sports Phanatic.

Dr. Corrie Crowe, D.D.S

Dr. Corrie Crowe graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1994.She completed a General Practice Residency at Hillsborough County Dental Research in Tampa, Florida. She served in the United States Air Force for four years, and spent four additional years only treating children in a rural area of Florida. She is a family practice dentist who exclusively treats children. To stay up-to-date on the latest state-of-the-art procedures available, Dr. Crowe attends meeting of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Christian Medical-Dental Society, the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Crowe won an award in January 2007 for Delivering High Quality Health to children. Away from the office, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, traveling, and running after her three-year-old son who keeps her on her toes.

Dr. Jennifer L. Cully D.M.D

Dr. Jennifer L. Cully joins our practice after completing her residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, DC. Originally from South Jersey, Dr. Cully received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the College of William & Mary in Virginia and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ – New Jersey Dental School.

Dr. Cully comes to us with extensive knowledge of pediatric medicine and special needs patients. As a dental team leader in the Leadership Education Neurodevelopment Disabilities (LEND) Program, Dr. Cully has been able to participate in educational programs designed for patients of special needs, their parents, and their caregivers. In addition, Dr. Cully is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Cully’s goals are to help children obtain optimal oral and overall health, while at the same time providing them with a fun and pleasant dental experience that will allow them to continue to look forward to their dental visits for years to come.

In her spare time, Dr. Cully can be found in the kitchen cooking and baking treats for friends and family. An avid athlete, Dr. Cully enjoys soccer, lacrosse, running, and recently completed her first marathon. Dr. Cully also enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles!
